We have one week till my husband has to report to San Diego for his pre-deployment stuff. We will try to squeeze in as much together time as possible. On another note, I took the car to get washed today, and the house was cleaned. Boy does it feel good to have it all cleaned.
I called 911 this morning to have the police go to our neighbor’s house. I got up at my usual time which is 4:30 am. I know, crazy time, but I like it. Anyway, the dog starts barking at something, which isn’t abnormal, but then I hear a loud bang which almost sounds like gunshots. I realize that the crashing is coming from our neighbor’s house two houses over, and it is loud. It sounded like things were being thrown around, and that the house was being trashed. There was one crash and then glass shattering, and the gunshot sounding noises I think was furniture or something large being thrown against the inside of the metal garage door. I called 911 and described all that I was hearing etc. Just a dad and his grown druggie son live there right now. The mom and two younger kids moved out a week or so ago. I think that they might have been scared having the other kids around the oldest son. Before the cops got there, I saw what looked like the oldest son leaving the house and limping down the street. I hope that it was helpful that I called the cops, and I hope that the dad is not mad. He has a bit of a temper.

So, my daughter was asked a month ago to read scripture for church today. She agreed, and she did very well. It was her first public speaking engagement. We had to be at the church at 7:30 in the morning to get her microphone on and sound checked, which means she had to get up at 5:15 in the morning. The church that she did this for is very large and has two services, so we were there until noon. This church is also televised, so she was very nervous. They also put a little make-up on her.
